Half of all mental health conditions start by age 14, but most cases are undetected and untreated. For a young person with symptoms of a mental disorder, the earlier treatment is started, the more effective it can be.

Many teens experience sudden physical, emotional, and social changes which can make them susceptible to developing mental health problems. There are several behavioral traits that they may display, such as, a defiant attitude toward rules, physical and/or verbal aggression, poor academic performance, self isolation, and suicidal thoughts/threats. The consequences of not addressing an adolescent’s mental health condition can extend into their adulthood, and impair both their physical and mental health, and limit their opportunities to lead a fulfilling life as an adult.
A full-day treatment program for adolescents ages 12 to 17 - Extended outpatient treatment (PHP & IOP levels) for both mental health disorders and substance use problems in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
